Nature of the Site

Lenoir County Released Inmates is a private reference with no government authority. It does not hold official records, confirm custody, release a person, post bond, or file a request for a visitor.

Its pages identify public jail, court, corrections, supervision, notification, and federal sources relevant to Lenoir County. Some pages also connect visitors to independently operated search tools.

Acceptable Use Rules

Visitors must use the site lawfully and without harming people, services, or systems.

• Do not violate any law through the site.
• Do not stalk, harass, intimidate, or threaten anyone.
• Do not use information for hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or another prohibited decision.
• Do not attempt unauthorized access to any account, server, or data.
• Do not deploy bots, scrapers, or automated extraction tools.
• Do not interfere with another visitor’s access.

No Consumer Reports

This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It and its advertising partners do not provide background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports. By using the site, a visitor agrees not to apply any information to:

• hiring, firing, or other employment decisions;
• tenant or housing screening;
• creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing;
• licensing, permits, or government-program eligibility; or
• any other purpose regulated by the FCRA.

Links and Outside Services

Pages may link to government release records, Sheriff and corrections sites, court portals, legal-aid sources, and outside search services. A link does not make the destination part of this site or endorse it. The destination controls its content, availability, terms, and data handling.

Service Provided As Is

The site and its content are supplied “as is” and “as available.” No warranty is made concerning:

• accuracy, completeness, or currentness;
• continuous or timely availability;
• freedom from errors, defects, or security flaws; or
• the scope or quality of partner search results.

Custody and public-record information can change quickly. Nothing on the site is an official statement from the Lenoir County Sheriff, a court, or another government agency.

Responsibility for Claims

Access May Be Revoked

Access may be suspended, limited, or ended at any time, with or without notice, including when use threatens the service, violates these terms, or creates legal risk.

North Carolina Law

North Carolina law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be brought in a court with jurisdiction in North Carolina.

If One Term Fails

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, it will be narrowed only as much as needed. Every remaining provision will continue in effect.
